Finding balance and guiding transformation
Let's enhance your emotional well-being.
Let's enhance your emotional well-being.
Since 2012, I have been helping my clients navigate life's challenges. I have worked with clients negatively impacted by anger, anxiety, behavioral issues, chronic illness, depression, difficult life transitions, family conflict, grief, obsessions/compulsions, peer relationships, school issues, self-esteem, stress, and trauma Many of my clients have experienced sexual abuse, physical abuse, domestic violence/intimate partner violence, and/or witnessed violence in their family or community.
I offer support to pre-teens, teens, and adults. I utilize a variety of evidence-based modalities, including CBT (Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy), TF-CBT (Trauma Focused CBT), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing), Integrative, and Person-Centered.
As a trauma-informed therapist, I help my clients to understand their trauma responses and collaboratively develop strategies to process and transform them. I have an integrative approach which allows me to blend different but complimentary approaches. When appropriate, I like using the systems theory which allows me to look beyond just my client, to understand their issues in context. This theory views a person's problems not solely as internal issues, but as arising from their interactions within the wider systems of their life.
I earned my undergraduate Bachelors of Science degree at San Diego State University in Child and Family Development and a Master’s degree in Social Work at the University of Southern California.

Please reach out to me if you cannot find the answer to your question below.
I offer individual telehealth sessions using a secure video platform that you can access from the comfort of your own home.
During your first session with me, I will ask you questions to get to know you better and identify what you would like to address in therapy. We will review your intake paperwork and you will also have the opportunity to ask me questions you may have about the process.
A counseling session typically lasts for 50 minutes, although session length may vary depending on your specific needs and preferences. One example of this is a pre-scheduled extended session lasting 75 minutes.
I do not accept insurance, however I am happy to provide a monthly statement/superbill that you can submit to your insurance if they offer out-of-network reimbursement.
You will need a device (laptop/computer, phone, etc) with a camera and microphone as well as a stable internet connection. It is best to be in a quiet, private place to be during our session time. Wearing headphones can be helpful to minimize distractions and increase privacy.
My rate for a 50 minute session is $200. For a 75 minute session, my rate is $300. I offer a limited sliding scale. Contact me to see if I have any of these spots open and if you qualify.
